WWE Smackdown Recap With Video: 6 Man Tag Match, Batista On What He Thinks Of Fans, More
This week's episode of Smackdown opens with Batista making his entrance to tell the fans what he thinks of them. JBL and Michael Cole are on commentary.
The encounter between Randy Orton and Batista on RAW is recapped. Then, Batista picks up the mic. He loves the business and the company, but he did not come back to be liked. He didn't come back to please the fans. He came back to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion, so the fans don't have to support him. They do have to deal with it though. It's a fact that he can destroy anyone they put in front of him. He is the best, and that includes Hulk Hogan and the Rock.
He doesn't get what happened to the business. He asks what happened to the real men and the attitude. He says the fans chant the names of 195 pound wannabes and scream yes. The truth is, no. He'll never beat him. Deal with it. He asks the crowd if they think their heroes are as good as him and takes his shirt off. He says everything about him screams WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
He says the people look at their heroes and think they can be champion since their heroes can. He tells them to go back to their jobs at Hot Topic and get out of his world. He will be destroying all their heroes on his way to WrestleMania to become champion.
Batista poses to the crowd, and Dolph Ziggler's music hits. He comes down to the ring and picks up the mic. He says he knows Batista's been away for a long time, but he can't come down and tell the people who to cheer for. He has news for Batista: he's a dinosaur. Sooner or later, dinosaurs become extinct. He says that if Batista is looking for attitude and real men, it's standing right in front of him. He wants a match with Batista tonight.
Batista laughs and slaps his knee. He takes the mic from Ziggler and accepts his challenge. Ziggler dropkicks Batista and slides out of the ring.
Big E and Mark Henry vs. The Real Americans
Big E and Swagger start off. They tie up and shove each other around the ring. The ref breaks them up. Swagger goes for a kick. Big E counters with a Suplex. He rams his shoulder into Swagger's stomach in the corner and Henry tags in. He strikes Swagger. Henry whips Swagger and charges. Swagger puts his boot up. Swagger charges, and Henry slams him to the mat. He tosses Swagger into his corner. Big E tags in, and he and Henry double team Swagger. Big E hits a trio of backbreakers. Swagger knees Big E in the gut and tags in Cesaro.
Cesaro tosses Big E to the apron. He runs Big E's head into the turnbuckle and goes up top. He deadlifts Big E off the apron and superplexes him. Swagger tags himself in and Cesaro asks what Swagger is doing. Swagger hits the Swagger bomb. He tags in Cesaro. The Real Americans double team Big E. Cesaro locks in Big E's head from behind. Big E fights out. He backdrops Cesaro behind him. Swagger and Henry tag in. Henry clotheslines Swagger several times. He hits Swagger with a running powerslam. Henry goes for the World's Strongest Slam, but Cesaro hits a big boot. Cesaro and Langston fight on the outside. Back in the ring, Swagger locks in the Patriot Lock on Henry. Cesaro tags himself in, and Swagger breaks the hold. He stares at Cesaro. Cesaro hits Henry with the Neutralizer for the win.

Then, Alberto Del Rio is backstage with Vickie Guerrero. Vickie says that Del Rio and Batista are tied 1-1. Del Rio says he wanted to ask for a rematch. Vickie says she already booked Batista for a match against Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio says he is going to take the night off then. He compliments Vickie's hair, and Sheamus walks up. He suggests Sheamus vs. Del Rio. Sheamus mocks Del Rio and compliments his hair.
Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
They tie up and push each other to the corner. The ref separates them. Del Rio lands kicks. Sheamus catches his foot and shoves him over the top rope. He leaps off the apron and takes Del Rio out. Sheamus slams Del Rio into the announce table. He sends Del Rio back inside and drops knees on him. Sheamus hits an uppercut. Del Rio backdrops Sheamus to the apron. He snaps Sheamus's neck across the top rope and kicks him off the apron.
Christian's music hits. He walks down to the ring as things go to commercial. Back from commercial and Del Rio is in control of Sheamus. He stomps on Sheamus. Christian is on commentary now. Del Rio goes up top, and Sheamus clubs him in the back. He takes Del Rio off and slams him back first to the mat. Sheamus knocks down Del Rio and rams his shoulder into his stomach. Sheamus hits a kick and slams Del Rio to the mat. Sheamus goes for the Brogue kick, but Del Rio dodges and hits a back stabber.
Del Rio goes for his Superkick, but Sheamus moves and sends Del Rio to the apron. He wraps Del Rio in the ropes and clubs him in the chest 10 times. He picks Del Rio up on his shoulders, and Del Rio shoves him into the corner. Del Rio lands his Superkick to Sheamus, but Sheamus kicks out of the pin attempt. Sheamus goes for the cloverleaf. He locks it in. Christian attacks Sheamus from behind.
Winner via DQ: Sheamus
Sheamus sends Christian out of the ring. Del Rio attacks Sheamus and goes for the cross armbreaker, but Sheamus counters into the Brogue kick. Christian attacks Sheamus from behind and hits the Killswitch.
Then, Daniel Bryan and Triple H's backstage encounter on RAW is shown.
Back from commercial and Hulk Hogan's return is recapped.
Then, Lana comes out on stage and announces Alexander Rusev. He comes out and picks up the mic. He says something in Bulgarian.
Then, the Shield is backstage. They argue, but Seth Rollins is able to rally them together.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Batista
Ziggler knocks Batista out of the ring. Batista kicks the ring steps and gets back inside. Ziggler lands strikes to the head and a dropkick. Batista rolls outside. He pulls Ziggler outside and rams him into the barrier. Batista slams Ziggler into the apron. He picks Ziggler up, but Ziggler wriggles out and drives Batista into the ring post. Batista kicks out Ziggler's knee. He sends Ziggler back in the ring. Batista grabs Ziggler's leg and slams it into the ring post. Ziggler rolls back outside. He sends Ziggler back inside and enters the ring. Batista hits a vertical Suplex.
Batista power whips Ziggler into the corner. He wraps Ziggler's leg around the bottom rope and pulls. He stomps on Ziggler's knee. Batista drives his shoulder into Ziggler's stomach. He charges, and Ziggler moves, sending Batista into the ring post. Ziggler leaps at Batista in the corner, and Batista shoves him away. Ziggler leaps again and lands a few punches. Batista grabs Ziggler in powerbomb position, but Ziggler gets free and kicks Batista's knee.
Ziggler hits the famouser for a two count. He locks Batista in a sleeper hold, but Batista shoves him off. Ziggler leaps at Batista, and Batista catches him and hits a spine buster. Batista lands two more spine busters. He signals for the Batista bomb. Batista picks Ziggler up and hits it for the win.
Winner: Batista
Then, the fight between the Wyatt Family and John Cena from RAW is shown.
Back from commercial and the Wyatts come down to the ring and cut a promo on John Cena. Then, the Shield's music hits and they come down to the ring. Triple H's music hits and he walks out on the stage. He tells them not to fight because he has too much time and money invested in everyone to let the war happen now. The fight can happen on RAW, but until then, the Shield must stand down. The Wyatt Family gets out of the ring. Bray says come on, boys. You heard your daddy. The Shield and Bray get in the ring. Rollins and Ambrose take out Harper and Rowan with dives, and get back in the ring. Bray exits. He holds Harper and Rowan back as the Shield yell at them.
WWE Divas Championship
AJ Lee (c) vs. Cameron
Lee attacks Cameron and punches her repeatedly in the stomach on the mat. She whips Cameron hard into the corner. Lee locks in Cameron's head from behind. Cameron escapes and hits several clotheslines and a bulldog. She whips Lee into the corner and charges. Tamina pushes Lee out of the way, and Cameron collides with the ring post. The ref sends Tamina from ringside. Cameron leaps off top and hits Lee with a crossbody. Lee kicks out of the pin attempt and kicks Cameron in the face. She locks Cameron in Black Widow and Cameron taps out.
Winner and still champion: AJ Lee
Back from commercial and the RAW Rebound is shown. It focuses on the encounter between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar.
Then, the pre and post show panel is shown. Big Show, Alex Riley, Booker T, and Josh Mathews are on it. They talk about Lesnar fighting Undertaker.
The Usos and Daniel Bryan vs. The New Age Outlaws and Kane
Bryan and Gunn start off. Bryan hits a knee to the gut and multiple kicks in the corner. Jey tags in. Gunn takes him to his corner and Kane tags in. He power whips Jey into the corner. Kane lands an uppercut. James tags in. He hits Jey with right hands to the head. Jey counters with a leaping clothesline. Jimmy tags in. They double team James. Jimmy goes for a Superkick, but James goes outside as things go to commercial.
Back from commercial and Gunn is in the ring with Jimmy. Jimmy is in control. He slides to the outside and pulls James off the apron. Jimmy gets back inside, and Gunn slams him to the mat. Gunn goes for a pin. Kane tags in. He kicks Jimmy and whips him into the corner. Kane lands a body avalanche. Kane tosses Jimmy out of the corner. James tags in. He kicks Jimmy in the stomach. Kane tags back in. He lands an uppercut on Jimmy in the corner.
Kane hits a sidewalk slam. He locks in Jimmy's head from behind. Jimmy fights out. Kane knocks Bryan off the apron and hits a clothesline on Jimmy. James tags in. He chokes Jimmy on the center rope. James knocks Jey off the apron. Jimmy battles back with a kick to the face. Bryan gets up on the apron. Bryan and Gunn tag in. Bryan knocks Kane off the apron and kicks Gunn in the corner. He hits Gunn with a flying clothesline. Bryan kicks Gunn in the chest several times. James runs in, and Bryan tosses him out. He dropkicks Gunn outside the ring.
Kane comes in and takes out Bryan. He tries to double chokeslam the Usos, but they double Superkick him outside. They take out Kane and James with dives. Back in the ring, Gunn lands the famouser on Bryan for a near pin fall. Gunn charges Bryan in the corner, and Bryan puts his boots up. Bryan hits the running knee to the face for the win.
