Dana White And UFC Champion Weigh In On Ronda Rousey Vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr.

UFC president Dana White makes no bones about it when it comes to a "dream" fight scenario between Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. White feels Rousey would dominate the boxing champion and destroy him in a fight.

"Yeah, you put Ronda Rousey in any fight situation: a street fight, a mixed martial arts fight. Not only does she beat Floyd, she hurts him really bad," said White, in a recent interview on ESPN's SportsNation, which you can see in the video above. "In a real fight, Ronda Rousey would hurt Floyd. He's this big.....Ronda gets her hands on him, I've seen her throw much bigger guys."

Of course, White knows that if they were paired up in the boxing ring, it would be a totally different story. Mayweather returns to action this weekend against Marcos Maidana for the WBC, WBA and The Ring welterweight titles.

"Now, if you put her in a boxing match, we know what's going to happen," White stated.

Rousey is set to defend her UFC female bantamweight title later this year at UFC 175 against Alexis Davis.

A fellow UFC champion, Anthony Pettis, doesn't agree with White's thoughts on Rousey-Mayweather. The lightweight champion was working the FOX Sports 1 analyst desk when the subject came up and he responded to the fight in question with a one word answer.

"Ridiculous," Pettis said. His fellow commentator, Daniel Cormier, only smiled and said "yes" about the fight.

Pettis is currently sidelined, recovering from surgery. He is set to be a coach on The Ultimate Fighter 20 – a season that will feature an all-female cast – before facing Gilbert Melendez at the end of the year.
