- FOX News affiliate WNFY 7 News did a story about Daniel Bryan facing independent wrestler Jay Freddie years ago on the independent circuit, which you can watch above.

"For me, it was really a once in a lifetime experience. And now look at him, he's the king of the mountain," said Freddie. "People come up to me who follow wrestling and go, 'you really wrestled Daniel Bryan?' And they want to talk about it."

- Speaking of Bryan, during last night's NHL playoff game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Columbus Blue Jackets, both Bryan and Triple H's themes were played during game breaks.

- PWInsider reports that WWE network will debut a new show next week called Best of WWE Hall of Fame, which will feature WWE Hall of Fame inductions from the past.
