Mick Foley Talks More About Not Signing WWE Deal At His Show, Big Names At C2E2, Foley Schedule
- WrestlingINC.com reader Darrell Hobgood was at Mick Foley's stand-up comedy show in Fort Wayne, IN last night. It was noted that Foley was doing his new set for only the third time, and it was really good. Foley was also very open about his decision not to sign the WWE legends deal.
Foley recently noted on his Facebook that the payoffs for the past two video games were "extremely weak," and told the audience that his agent had told him how successful the game was and estimated what the royalty checks should have been. His was way low, as were checks for other talents. He was told last year that it was because the game studio was filing bankruptcy. He feels this isn't an acceptable answer considering that WWE is a billion dollar business.
- Foley will be taking his "Tales From Wrestling Past" to the Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis, IN tonight, followed by a pair of shows at the same venue this Sunday. You can get more information or purchase tickets by clicking here.
- Foley will also be one of many wrestling legends at the 2014 Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo this weekend. Foley, Kevin Nash, Bad Influence, Fred "Tugboat / Shockmaster" Ottman and Jerry "The King" Lawler will be at the fan fest all three days. Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart will be appearing on Saturday, while Al Snow and Mr. Anderson will be appearing on Friday and Saturday. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will be appearing on Saturday and Sunday. You can get more information about the event at c2e2.com.
