WWE NXT Recap With Video: Sami Zayn Vs. Corey Graves, EMMA Vs. Sasha Banks, The Ascension, More

This week's episode of NXT opens with Emma making her entrance. Byron Saxton, William Regal, Renee Young and Tom Phillips are on commentary.

Emma vs. Sasha Banks (with Charlotte)

Sasha charges at Emma twice, and Emma ducks both times. She trips Sasha and hits a shoulder tackle. She wrenches Sasha's arm behind her back. Sasha tries for a body slam, but Emma counters into one of her own. Sasha trips Emma into the turnbuckle. She jumps on Emma's back in the corner. Sasha stomps on Emma's mid section. She slams Emma to the mat by her head. She slams Emma's head into the corner twice. The crowd starts chanting Sasha is ratchet and Renee Young hilariously explains to William Regal what that means.

Emma comes back by locking in the tarantula. She hits Sasha with her corner running crossbody. Charlotte gets up on the apron to distract Emma. Sasha tries to attack Emma from behind, but Emma moves, causing Sasha to ram into Charlotte. Emma locks in the Emma Lock and Sasha taps.

Winner: Emma

Charlotte tries to attack Emma after the match, but Emma rolls out of the ring.

Then, a video package for Mojo Rawley is shown.

Back from commercial and The Ascension make their entrance.

The Ascension vs. Jack Hurley and John Vandal

Hurley starts off with Viktor. Viktor clubs him in the back. He rams Hurley into the corner, knocking Vandal off the apron. The ref counts it as a tag. Viktor sends Vandal inside. Viktor hits a flying shoulder tackle. Konnor tags in. He tosses Vandal against the ropes twice. The crowd chants one more time and he does it again. Konnor kicks Hurley to the floor, and then hits Vandal with a body avalanche. Viktor tags in, and they hit the Fall of Man for the win.

Winners: The Ascension

Back from commercial and Xavier Woods makes his entrance.

Xavier Woods vs. Brodus Clay

Xavier hits a dropkick. He hits Brodus with multiple kicks. Clay comes back with a T-bone Suplex. He clubs Xavier in the back. Clay punches Xavier in the chest and steps on him. He whips Xavier into the corner and charges. Clay hits a running splash and a Suplex. He clamps down on Xavier's traps. Xavier fights out and lands a big chop. He kicks Clay in the face. Xavier lands a shining wizard. He hits Clay with mounted punches in the corner. Clay shoves him off and hits a running headbutt. Clay lands a powerbomb and the crowd chants better than Batista. He goes up top and hits Xavier with a splash for the win.

Winner: Brodus Clay

Clay picks up a mic. He says the WWE took everything from him, including his pride, self-respect, and dignity. From now on, he's doing the taking. The first thing he is going to take is Adrian Neville's NXT Championship.

Then, Devin Taylor is backstage with Adrian Neville. He says that Brodus Clay wants a match with him because he feels he's not getting recognition. He asks if Brodus is not aware of what NXT has become. They're the future of the business and just as good as anyone on RAW or Smackdown. On NXT, they earn their opportunities. Brodus may be a monster, but he is a fighting champion. If Brodus earns an opportunity, he will be waiting.

Back from commercial and Yoshi Tatsu is waiting in the ring.

Yoshi Tatsu vs. Tyler Breeze

Tatsu locks in a side headlock. Breeze fights out and clubs Tatsu in the back. He kicks Tatsu in the corner. Tatsu charges Breeze in the corner, but Breeze puts his feet up. He kicks Tatsu in the back. He locks in Tatsu's head from behind. Tatsu fights out and chops Breeze. Breeze hits a leaping strike to the head. Breeze lands the beauty shot for the win.

Winner: Tyler Breeze

Then, Devin Taylor is backstage with Sami Zayn. He says he feels fine heading into his match against Corey Graves. The doctors have cleared him. The only person that has anything to worry about is Graves.

Next, a backstage exclusive is shown with Corey Graves. He tells a story about a dog that got his paw trapped in a bear trap, and then the wolves came out.

Then, a video package is shown for Paige. This is followed by a backstage exclusive with her. Paige talks about how Charlotte and Sasha Banks wouldn't let her have her moment at NXT Arrival. If Charlotte wants to face her, she needs to approach her and get out from behind her dad.

Corey Graves makes his entrance.

Corey Graves vs. Sami Zayn

They lock up. Graves tries to get space by ducking between the ropes. Graves rolls outside. He says not tonight, and starts walking up the ramp. Zayn follows and strikes Graves to the floor. He slams Graves's head into the apron and rolls him inside. Zayn chops Graves. He attacks him in the corner. Zayn hits a back body drop. He clotheslines Graves to the outside. Zayn takes out Graves with a dive. He sends Graves back inside. Graves goes to the apron. Zayn tries to attack more, but Graves hits a shot to the head. He gets back inside and drops forearms on Zayn's head as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Graves hits a vertical Suplex. He locks in Zayn's head from behind. He breaks the hold and drops a fist on Zayn. Graves strikes and kicks Zayn in the corner. Zayn swings wildly at Graves, but doesn't connect. Graves drops an elbow on Zayn's head. Graves locks it back in. Zayn breaks the hold, but Graves hits a boot to the head. He drops a knee on Zayn. They exchange strikes. Graves rams Zayn spine-first into the corner. He locks Zayn's head back in.

Zayn gets out and goes for a cover. He clotheslines Graves. Graves comes back quickly and plants him face first to the mat. He tries to lock in a submission, but Zayn kicks him away. Graves hits a backbreaker. Graves charges Zayn, and Zayn counters into an exploder Suplex into the corner. Zayn hits his spinning sitout powerbomb for a near pin fall. He goes for his running corner big boot, but Graves catches his leg. They both try for offense, and their heads collide.

Zayn lands a knee to the head. He goes up top and stumbles a bit. Zayn drops down and hits Graves in the face as the ref checks him. Graves lands a shot to the side of the head. He locks Zayn in the lucky 13 submission, and the ref calls it before Zayn taps.

Winner: Corey Graves

Zayn stumbles around the ring as the doctors check on him to end the show.
