WWE Superstars Recap With Video: Big E Vs. Titus O'Neil, Los Matadores Vs. 3MB
This week's episode of Superstars opens with the tribute to Ultimate Warrior. Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips are on commentary. Big E makes his entrance.
Big E vs. Titus O'Neil
They shove each other around the ring. Titus locks in a side headlock. E lands a shoulder tackle. Titus comes back with a body slam. He drops an elbow on E. He uppercuts E into the corner. Titus lands several strikes. Titus packs E up and tosses him to the side. He hits E with a leg drop and locks in his head from behind. E fights back by ramming his shoulder into Titus's gut in the corner. Titus comes back with a big boot. He torques E's head.
E breaks free, but Titus knees him in the stomach and hits a body slam. E lands multiple body shots. Titus backs him to the corner. E fights out with shots to the head, but Titus lands knees to the stomach. He tosses E behind him, and E lands on his feet. He clotheslines Titus twice and hits a belly-to-belly. E hits Titus with a splash and the big ending for the win.
Winner: Big E
Then, the Usos vs. Batista and Randy Orton from RAW two weeks ago is recapped. Back from commercial, and Batista and Orton vs. the Usos from RAW on Monday is shown.
Next, the Wyatts vs. Big E, Sheamus, and Cena from RAW two weeks ago is recapped. This is followed by Bray Wyatt's promo to John Cena on RAW on Monday.
Los Matadores (with El Torito) vs. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal (with Heath Slater)
Drew and Diego start off. Drew takes control early on. He hits Diego with a clothesline. He takes Diego to the corner and strikes him. Diego comes back with a head scissors from up top. Fernando tags in. He attacks briefly, but Drew backs him into the corner. Mahal tags in. He whips Fernando. Fernando dodges and hits a head scissors. Drew tags in and he and Mahal double-team Fernando.
Back from commercial and Drew is in control of Diego. He attacks Diego's leg using the bottom rope for leverage. Mahal tags in. He slams Diego's leg into the apron. Mahal drops a knee on Diego. He stomps on Diego's chest and tags in Drew. They double suplex Diego. Drew kicks out his knee. Drew hangs him from the top rope in the corner and kicks his leg.
Mahal and Drew exchange quick tags. Drew charges, and Diego kicks him. He hits Drew with a DDT. Mahal and Fernando tag in. Fernando has the hot tag. He hits Drew off the apron and keeps up the attack on Mahal. Drew tries to interfere, and Diego sends him outside. Fernando and Mahal collide in the ring. Slater gets up on the turnbuckle, and Torito crotches him. Then, Fernando hits Mahal with a DDT for the win.
Winners: Los Matadores
Back from commercial and Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan from the night after WrestleMania is recapped, with a focus on the Shield's attack on Triple H. This is followed by the 11 wrestlers vs. the Shield match to end the show.
