Eric Young Title Defense Hits New Low For Impact, Kurt Angle Video Update, Attendance, Sorensen

- Former TNA star Jesse Sorensen broke his ankle in several places at an indie wrestling event in Florida this past weekend. He will be going in for surgery later this week. The injury happened when Sorensen's foot got caught up in the mat while doing a suplex.

- As noted, last Thursday's episode of TNA Impact Wrestling scored a 0.85 cable rating with 1.05 million viewers. The second actually dropped 23% from the first hour. The final segment of the show, Eric Young defending his title against MVP, hit a new low quarter-hour rating of 0.69. Full quarter-hour ratings went like this: 1.03, .96, .92, .98, .81, .76, .72, .69.

- An estimated 200-300 fans attended Sunday night's TNA live event in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
