Sound Off: What Grade Would You Give The WWE Network So Far?

In February, WWE launched the WWE Network, a concept that finally came to fruition after many unsuccessful projected dates. Smartly, WWE felt that it had enough content and a large enough library to satisfy the subscribers. To add a huge incentive, pay per views were added to the live list of events that occur on the network, even the normally-expensive WrestleMania.

Since then, the network has added episodic shows such as Legends House, as well as broadened the library with vintage WCW Clash of the Champions episodes. Moreover, one finally gets to see on a weekly basis in the US the amazing talent pool housed by NXT without searching Youtube.

Despite this, there have been many reports and speculation over the network being discontent with the number of subscribers. Indirect proof of this is 1) the extension of the free week trial period, and 2) the referral program the WWE is currently having. While some may think this is good marketing, many others believe that it is a desperate sign of WWE trying to garner more subscribers.

Overall, the network creates a great blend of old and new. Nostalgia meets contemporary, and the friendship seems lasting. This also gives those who are relatively new wrestling fans, as well as those who missed a chunk of wrestling during their fandom for whatever reason, to experience the rich history that pro wrestling inhabits.

So, with all of this on the table, what are your thoughts of the network so far? What would be your overall grade? Do you plan on renewing? Sound off below.
