"The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale: Miocic Vs. Maldonado" Results & Bonuses: Miocic Rolls
Stipe Miocic had little trouble sending Fabio Maldonado back to the light heavyweight division Saturday night, scoring a first round TKO victory over the Brazilian at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale from Sao Paulo. Miocic was originally scheduled to square off with Junior dos Santos, but the ex-UFC champion suffered a hand injury and had to bow out.
Maldonado, coming off back-to-back wins at 205 pounds, agreed to take on the fight against Miocic. He weathered the first attack, but the second flurry did him in, forcing the ref to step in and end it.
Two new TUF: Brazil winners were also crowned in Antonio Carlos, Jr. and Warlley Alves. Complete results can be found below. "Performance of the Night" bonuses were given to Miocic and Alves, while Kevin Souza and Mark Eddiva were honored as "Fight of the Night." All four picked up an additional $50,000.
