Wanderlei Silva Says Drug Testing Issue Is Resolved, Dana White Says He's "Very Wrong"

- Wanderlei Silva brought along a video camera to his recent hearing in front of the Nevada State Athletic Commission to claim innocence after refusing to take a drug test earlier this year. Silva was suspended at the time for not taking the test, forcing him out of a planned July fight with Chael Sonnen.

In the video above, Silva states why he was not willing to take the test and describes his innocence in detail. He is accompanied by his lawyer for the hearing.

"I don't use PEDs or steroids," Silva said. "I have never used and I've never had any problems. I have never failed a doping test before. I have nothing to hide and I am glad we solved this."

The NSAC did not resolve it, as they have yet to make their decision known to the public. Silva could be facing a long suspension and fine for the decision to not take that test.

- UFC president Dana White believes everything is not "fine" with Wanderlei Silva and the Nevada Athletic Commission. Despite Silva's claims otherwise, White let it be known in his weekly "State of the UFC" address that he doesn't feel the same.

"I think he's in big trouble," White said. "You cannot run away from a test. You can't do it and it sets a very bad precedent. He would have been better off taking the test and testing positive than running. I'm not a commission member. Maybe I'm wrong and he's right; we'll see what happens."

Silva was scheduled to meet Chael Sonnen in July. Following his removal, Sonnen later failed his own drug test. White also added that things between himself and "The Axe Murderer" will be fine moving forward regardless of the outcome.

"(He) and I have always dealt well with each other," he said. "Running from the test is as bad as it gets, though. Once he's through that, he and I will be cool."
