Former WWE Star "Pretty Much Done" Wrestling, PWI Turns 35, Kazarian & Daniels, NJPW Podcast, More
- Former WWE and TNA star Shannon Moore noted on his Twitter that his in-rig career is about over. He wrote:
"For u asking I'm pretty much done in the ring. Just times have changed and I don't want to be that guy trying to Stay on Indy's I've lived it and I would rather get out and be an agent or work with talent.Thanks WCW,WWE,and TNA!!! Looking for the next thing.And want to move to Chicago and be with my wife's amazing family!! Thanks to all that have supported me over the last 20 plus years. Much love to fans. Keep supporting the guys... Because family's depend on that support!!!Thank You So Much for making a dream come true."
- Pro Wrestling Illustrated is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a special section in its current issue that includes the high point and low point for each of the publication's 35 years, a selection of their 35 best covers, 35 most beautiful women, 35 photo outtakes, the 35 most memorable headlines, the 35 highest ranking "PWI 500" finishers, and a "where are they now" on 35 former writers and editors. This issue is available in print and digital format at pwi-online.com.
- The Bullet Club's Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows along with Rocky Romero started their own podcast for MLW. The first episode dropped this past weekend where they talk with other wrestlers while in Japan and take you inside New Japan. It's called Talk'n Shop and is available at MLW.com right now.
- Kazarian and Christopher Daniel will be making their Pro Wrestling Guerrilla debut as a tag team against PWG Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks on the second night of the Battle of Los Angeles three-day event that will start on the 29th of August. Both men have wrestled for PWG before with Kazarian being a former World Champion for the promotion.
