Jesse Ventura Has No Regrets Over Suing Widow (Video), Nikki Bella, WWE RAW Taping Cancelled
- As noted yesterday, a jury in Minnesota awarded WWE Hall of Famer Jesse "The Body" Ventura $1.8 million in his lawsuit against former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. Kyle had claimed in his 2006 autobiography to have punched Ventura in a bar fight after Ventura was making disparaging remarks about the SEALS. After Kyle was shot and killed in 2013, Ventura named his widow the defendant in the lawsuit. Ventura claims that the fight never happened and that his $1 million a year income "came to a screeching halt" after the book was released.
Ventura appeared on CBS' This Morning and said that he plans to use the money he was awarded to pay his lawyers. He also said that he had no regrets for pursuing the lawsuit after Kyle was killed.
"I would have been a big-time loser had I not pursued the lawsuit, because ... the whole story was fabricated," Ventura said, who also hinted at suing the book's publisher, HarperCollins. "I was accused of treason, which in the military is the death penalty."

- WWE announced in May that they would return to the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC on Monday, December 8th for a live RAW. The event is now listed as cancelled on Ticketmaster, and there is no word yet on where WWE will tape RAW that night.
