One Goal Between TNA And Wrestle-1, The Wolves Defending, Matches For Tonight's NYC Impact

- Wrestle-1 stars Kaz Hayashi and Shuji Kondo have challenged TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves to a title shot, which will likely happen on the Japanese tour they're booked on from August 23rd through August 31st.

- We noted before that Wrestle-1 would be crowning their first champion just four days before TNA Bound For Glory in Japan. There is a long-term goal between TNA and Wrestle-1 to do an interpromotional champion vs. champion match.

- Tonight's taped episode of TNA Impact Wrestling from New York City will feature Matt Hardy, The Great Muta, Austin Aries' decision on Option C, MVP vs. Bobby Roode in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, Team 3D & Tommy Dreamer vs. Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud & Rhino, plus more.
