Triple H Briefly Follows A TNA Wrestler On Twitter, Three New Additions To WWE's NXT Roster Page
- Three talents have been added to the official WWE NXT roster page on WWE.com: Becky Lynch, Cal Bishop and Rich Brennan.
Lynch (real name Rebecca Knox), who began her wrestling career in Ireland in 2002, was recently introduced on WWE NXT. She made her debut on the June 26 show, defeating Summer Rae. On Thursday's broadcast, Lynch teamed up with Bayley in an losing effort to the BFFs (NXT Women's Champion Charlotte and Sasha Banks) in a tag team match.
Bishop (real name Clayton Jack) is a former NCAA All-American wrestler who WWE officials recruited last year from Oregon State. His time thus far in developmental has been rocky. He has only competed twice on WWE NXT so far this year (losing both times) and according to PWInsider.com, was recently sidelined with a torn rotator cuff that could put him out of action for seven to eight months if surgery is required.
Brennan (Rich Bocchini), who calls the action WWE NXT, previously announced for Booker T's Reality of Wrestling independent promotion in the Houston, Texas area. His background includes announcing for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees Central Hockey League team and the American Hockey League's Houston Aeros. He also worked as a Communications Manager for Comcast Sports Houston.
- Triple H, who does not follow TNA Wrestling employees on Twitter, briefly followed Samoa Joe on the social media platform late Saturday night, with Joe adding the WWE executive at approximately the same time as well.
When you follow a person on Twitter, you can also keep tabs on that individual's follow and favorite activity. So late last night, some fans noticed the WWE executive and TNA star following each other (which would allow users to private message each other).
