UFC Fight Night 45 Results: Nine Bouts End In A Finish, Bonuses Revealed, Attendance
It was a night of finishes at UFC Fight Night 45 Wednesday, as nine of the 11 bouts ended before the final bell sounded. That included the main event, which saw Donald Cerrone deliver a second round head-kick knockout of Jim Miller.
The fight seemed to be over a few minutes before the head-kick, as Cerrone caught Miller with a shot to the stomach. As Miller went down, the referee ruled it a low blow and the action continued. It was the first time Miller has been stopped in his MMA career.
Other winners included Edson Barboza, Rick Story, Joe Proctor, John Lineker and Lucas Martins on the main card. Barboza, Proctor, Lineker and Martins earned knockout victories, while Story submitted Leonardo Mafra.
Lineker and Alptekin Ozkilic earned the "Fight of the Night," while Cerrone and Martins each scored "Performance of the Night" honors. All four fighters picked up an additional $50,000. The attendance inside the Revel in Atlantic City was announced at 4,115.
