Roddy Piper Talks Brock Lesnar Bumping Him And Not The Other Legends On RAW, If He Was Scared
Dan Williamson of ABC Wisconsin affiliate WDIO-TV interviewed WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper over the weekend, which you can watch above. At the end of the interview, Piper talked about Brock Lesnar bumping him on RAW a couple of weeks ago during Hulk Hogan's birthday celebration.
Piper noted that he wore black to Hogan's birthday bash, which went over everyone's heads. He then said that he didn't know that Lesnar was coming out, and that when Lesnar bumped him it didn't scare him and that he's "fought Andre the Giant 50 times."
Piper said that the cool thing about the segment was that Lesnar bumped into him first, which he took as a huge sign of respect. He then said that the reason why Lesnar bumped into him and not the other legends was because he's "the last gunslinger." He said that he knew that it was Lesnar's moment to shine, otherwise he would have fought Lesnar, although he admitted that he wouldn't stand much of a chance against Lesnar unless "God was in my corner." He went on to put Lesnar over, saying that he likes Lesnar and that Lesnar is a credit to the business.
