Chris Jericho Reveals His Original Opponent At Night Of Champions, Update On New Announcer Signing

- Chris Jericho addressed his recent run with WWE on the latest edition of Talk Is Jericho on PodcastOne.com and revealed that he was originally scheduled to wrestle Seth Rollins at Night of Champions. He says Vince McMahon changed his mind and had him face Randy Orton.

Jericho said he loves how Orton works and felt they had great chemistry together. He felt his match with Orton at Night of Champions and with Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam were his two best matches in his latest WWE run. He noted that he "kind of" pulled his groin while facing Orton at Night of Champions.

Jericho added that he may be back "sooner than you think" and would have stuck around longer if he didn't have to go on tour with Fozzy.
