How Did The WWE RAW Season Premiere Fare Against Monday Night Football Opener?

Last night's season premiere of WWE Monday Night RAW averaged 3.99 million viewers, according to TV By The Numbers. That was a slight 2% increase from last week's Labor Day show.

The first hour of the show averaged 3.984 million viewers, and rose to 4.162 million viewers for the second hour. The audience fell 8% in the final hour, which drew 3.814 million viewers.

As expected, the Monday Night Football double header dominated the night. The Detroit Lions – New York Giants game averaged 13.728 million viewers, while the Arizona Cardinals – San Diego Chargers game garnered 11.515 million viewers.
