Jeff Jarrett's New Promotion Set For PPV In January
After months of speculation, Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling is set for a pay-per-view event.
According to PWInsider, they have confirmed that a GFW PPV is set for January 4, 2015. This is also the date of New Japan's Annual Tokyo Dome event. The two promotions have already announced a working relationship.
It is said that Jarrett may have found a way to promote New Japan's giant New Year's show in America. According to PWInsider, the show would be branded as a GFW show in the States, as opposed to a NJPW show.
Earlier this year, Jeff Jarrett applied for promoter's licenses in several states in the U.S., and also mentioned that country music star Toby Keith would be involved. Since then, details surrounding the company have been quiet. Jarrett retains a minority share in TNA Wrestling.
Jeff Jarrett joined the Bullet Club stable in New Japan earlier this summer, after appearing in NJPW. He has also worked in Mexico, where he also has working relationship with Lucha Libre USA for GFW.
