Triple H Talks Wanting To Make NXT Like WCW, Success Of Takeover 2, More

As noted earlier, Triple H sat down with Michael Cole this week on WWE.com to speak about last Thursday's NXT Takeover II special. Here's what he had to say about the event and NXT.

* Triple H notes that NXT Takeover II was the #2 program on social media during prime time onThursday, including all cable and network shows.

* He's wanted NXT to become it's own brand, and he feels as if it has accomplished that. Triple H compared NXT to ECW as an alternative currently, but wants it to become as big as WCW and rival the WWE main roster.

* Triple H really enjoys the relationship with Full Sail University, where WWE films the NXT show. The company uses the proceeds from NXT Live events to provide scholarships for students at Full Sail University.

* Cole and Triple H close by plugging NXT again and promoting the WWE Network.
