UFC Fight Night 51 Results: Former World Champions Clash, Big Upset, Fight Night Bonuses, More

UFC Fight Night 51 took place from Brasilia, Brazil Satuday night as UFC Fight Pass saw its second live event air in as many weeks.

The night's main event saw former UFC Heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski take on former title challenger and EliteXC champion Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva in a rematch of their 2010 bout, which Silva won. This was Silva's first fight off of testosterone replacement therapy, and just under a year after his all-time classic with Mark Hunt. Arlovski was fresh off of a highly criticized and controversial victory over Brendan Schaub.

Arlovski came out looking incredibly light on his feet and a few minutes into the first round landed a giant right hand that dropped Silva. Arlovski followed up with more punches before the fight was stopped, giving him the upset victory. Arlovski only has one loss in his last ten bouts.

In the co-main event, UFC mainstay Gleison Tibau came out aggressive against Piotr Hallman, connecting with several clean shots early. Tibau didn't look back from there and controlled the majority of rounds one and two, before trying to coast through the third. Hallman made a bit of a comeback in the third round, but Tibau took home the split decision victory.

Fight night performance bonuses of $50,000 went to Andrei Arlovski, Gleison Tibau, Piotr Hallman and Godofredo Castro.
