WWE Confirms SmackDown On Friday Nights, WWE Site Traffic, Warrior & WrestleMania DVD Sales
- It's been a confusing morning regarding SmackDown's time slot on Syfy in the fall. Syfy updated their schedule last month and had SmackDown on Thursday nights starting on October 2nd. Syfy then issued the following press release this morning stating that Haven has been moved to Thursdays at 8pm ET/PT, followed by Spartacus: Gods of the Arena at 9pm and 10pm ET/PT, which would have been the new SmackDown time slot. While Syfy updated their schedule for September to reflect this change, they still have SmackDown on Thursday nights starting on October 2nd. F4WOnline.com reports that WWE has confirmed that SmackDown will remain on Friday nights this fall.
- WWE averaged 18.6 million unique visitors for the month of August.
- 143,000 units of the WrestleMania 30 DVD and Blu-Ray have been shipped as of the end of August. Ultimate Warrior: The Ultimate Collection has had 84,000 units shipped since it released in April.
