WWE Superstars Recap: The Wyatts In Action, Sin Cara In Singles Match
This week's show opens with the entrance music for Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan who head out to the ring for a tag bout. They're taking on Los Matadores. To make things interesting, they've brought El Torito along.
Los Matadores vs. The Wyatts
It kind of suggests that WWE's wardrobe folks might need to change things up a bit when the announce team is not entirely certain whether it's Fernando or Diego who starts the match. They're pretty sure it's Fernando, though. Rowan starts off for the Wyatts and he works his opponent over in a big way before tagging in Harper. Harper keeps it up, leveling Fernando with a big boot. Diego eventually gets the tag and mounts some decent offense but it's not enough and Harper gets the win after a huge clothesline.
Result: The Wyatts win via pinfall.
Recap packages roll, covering the Rollins/Reigns rivalry and the latest developments in Cena's feud with Lesnar.
Courtesy of the guys in the truck, we also revisit the match between Reigns and Rollins from this week's Raw in which Reigns picked up the win.
Now one-half of the NXT tag champs, Sin Cara has earned a good deal of credibility with WWE fans and he's on deck for a singles match in this show.
Sin Cara vs. Justin Gabriel
Gabriel gets the jump on Sin Cara early, working him into the corner and peppering him with blows. Sin Cara turns it around and chops the heck out of the South African for a bit but Gabiel gets back on top quickly. He tries to take to the air but Sin Cara knocks him from his perch flips him on to the mat and eventually works Gabriel into a pin. A short but decent match.
Result: Sin Cara wins via pinfall.
The show closes with a repeat of Mark Henry's rally from this week's Raw.
