Chris Jericho On If He Will Be At WrestleMania 31, Kazarian Reveals Why He Left WWE, RAW - Twitter
- In the video above, former TNA star Kazarian talks with Title Match Wrestling about his brief run in WWE developmental back in 2005. Kazarian signed with WWE in February of that year, went to OVW in May, debuted on TV in August and was told that the company was revamping the cruiserweights. Kazarian said the little bit of work he was doing was great but nothing was really happening.
Kazarian said Vince McMahon, who was a fan of his work, suggested he get a haircut after a match one night. Kazarian usually wore his hair in a ponytail but John Laurinaitis told him to wear it down that one night. Kazarian did not cut his hair and soon asked for his release but says he would have still left if Vince asked him to change something else. Kazarian says he doesn't regret having that mindset but he wasn't mature enough as a man and an athlete at the time to be in the WWE environment. He added that there were no hard feelings between the two sides.
- For what it's worth, Chris Jericho did a Twitter Q&A last night and noted that there's no chance of him competing at WrestleMania 31.
