Is The WWE Network Free In Canada During Nov.?, Nikki Bella Reacts To Big SmackDown Win, WWE Poll
- On Friday's episode of SmackDown, Nikki Bella emerged from the Halloween Costume Battle Royal as the No. 1 contender for the Divas Championship held by AJ Lee. In this SmackDown Fallout video, Bella reacts to her victory and addresses sister Brie.
- The official WWE website has issued a poll asking fans what the best foreign object used in SmackDown's "Trick or Street Fight" was.
- WWE confirmed to FightNetwork.com that its "WWE Network Free For November" promotion is not available in Canada, nor the price point of $9.99.
WWE said in a statement, "The November Free promotion is for the U.S. over-the-top version of WWE Network, which is also available in more than 170 countries. WWE Network in Canada is distributed through Rogers Communications, and Rogers oversees all marketing and promotional campaigns in Canada."
According to the FightNetwork.com, this is due to WWE's contract with Rogers Communications; they are the Canadian distributors of the WWE Network and set the price and promotions. Rogers is currently seeking a CRTC license and looking to add additional cable providers with the WWE Network, only 20% of the country is covered by them.
