UFC Fight Night 54 Video Highlights, Rory MacDonald Asks For Title Shot, UFC 182 Fight Announced

- The UFC returned to Canada Saturday night with UFC Fight Night 54, highlighted by Rory MacDonald third-round finish of Tarec Saffiedine in the main event. With the win, MacDonald earned his third straight, and you can see the highlights in the video above.

- Behind the strength of being the first fighter to finish Tarec Saffiedine, Rory MacDonald wants to cash in. MacDonald defeated Saffiedine Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 54, earning his third straight win. Afterwards, he asked to be the next man to challenge for the welterweight title.

"I'm next. I want that title shot," MacDonald said. "I want the winner of the next fight. Please (UFC), give it to me."

That next bout is UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks vs. Robbie Lawler in December at UFC 181. Lawler was the last fighter to defeat MacDonald, scoring a decision win over him last year.

- Hector Lombard will return to action at UFC 182 in January, meeting former World Series of Fighting contender Josh Burkman. The event features Jon Jones defending his light heavyweight belt vs. Daniel Cormier from Las Vegas.

Lombard (34-4-1) has won back-to-back fights since moving down from middleweight to welterweight. He is a former Bellator champion. Burkman (27-10) is returning to the Octagon, having won nine of his last 11 overall.
