Update On Rumors Of Kurt Angle Returning To WWE, WWE Covers Rumor On Batista, Rosa Mendes Note

- On today's edition of Wrestling Observer Radio on F4WOnline.com, Dave Meltzer disputed online reports claiming that Kurt Angle is in negotiations with WWE to return to the company as a wrestler.

On Saturday, PWInsider.com reported that one source said that Angle declined a full-time contract from WWE because he feels his body would not be able to handle a full-time touring schedule. Meltzer said that the claim of WWE offering Angle a full-time contract is bogus, unless it's a tactic by them to politely decline him since they know he would not be able to work a full-time schedule.

McMahon has long been opposed to allowing Angle to wrestle again for his company due to health concerns. Meltzer feels that the only plausible scenario is that WWE may be willing to bring him back for a farewell run as long as he passes all Wellness and physical tests.

- WWE.com has published an article addressing rumors suggesting that former WWE Champion Batista may star as a villain in the next James Bond movie.

WWE states, "Unconfirmed reports indicate that The Animal is in negotiations to star as the villain Hinx opposite Daniel Craig's 007 in the next installment of the legendary franchise. According to casting reports, the producers were looking for a physically imposing male with a unique look and a sports background ? a description that fits Batista perfectly."

- Coming off last night's episode of Total Divas on E! where Rosa Mendes confessed to Natalya, that she hadn't "had action in a long time," the WWE Diva briefly trended as the No 1. topic on Yahoo.com today. She also trended last week after having a "wardrobe malfunction" on the show.
