WWE SmackDown Results: Cena And Ambrose Vs. Orton And Kane, Divas Action, More

Welcome to WrestlingINC.com's live coverage and results for SmackDown. Tonight's show was taped on Tuesday in Milwaukee. Incidentally, Milwaukee is the 22nd largest city in America and birthplace of actor Gene Wilder.

Please spread word of our viewing party and complete results via Facebook and Twitter.

Tonight's action kicks off with a recap of Dean Ambrose's return to Monday Night Raw as well as the shenanigans that ensued. Particular emphasis is given to the tenuous alliance that they formed for the main event. Then we head inside the venue for John Cena's entrance theme. Apparently your time is up and his time is now.

The crowd is fired up for Cena and he takes to the mic, giving some strokes to the people of Milwaukee. Cena is a little miffed at Ambrose for getting in his way but John directs most of his ire at The Authority. He says tonight's the night that Seth Rollins proves his muster and the crowd agrees. Ambrose comes out and tells Cena that he needs to get in line and chastises Cena for getting in his way on Monday night. John reminds Dean that this all goes back to the drubbing he took by Lesnar and Ambrose counters by reminding him that Rollins and Kane almost took him out permanently with that whole cinderblock thing. Cena calls for a truce and Ambrose reluctantly agrees. Rollins, Kane and Orton appear on the Tron and Orton ridicules the Cena/Ambrose "bromance." Kane and Orton try to get Orton and Cena to turn on each other by bringing up some past issues and then Kane announces that Cena and Ambrose will face Orton and Kane in the main event. Seth Rollins fumes quietly to round this one out.

After the break, Ziggler emerges to a nice reception and a recap rolls from the triple threat IC match on Monday night, followed by a look at the Sheamus/Sandow match. Miz and Sandow are already in the ring and Sheamus enters next. Looks like a tag match.

Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow

Sheamus and Miz start this one out. Miz gets a little offense in to start but Sheamus comes at him pretty hard and Miz decides he's had enough. Sandow tags in and Sheamus gets a near-fall quickly. Sheamus continues to dominate Sandow, getting him down on the apron and Miz comes in to try and break it up but Sheamus dumps him outside. Sheamus starts laying into Sandow on the apron with a torrent of forearms and Miz breaks it up, prompting Ziggler to hop down and give chase to Miz. He rounds up Miz and Sandow and Sheamus comes off the top and outside to take them both out. Break time.

Back into it, Miz has the upper hand on Sheamus at this point and Sandow tags in to continue the campaign. After some mat work, Miz comes back in and the announce team recalls Triple H's "stright to DVD" joke from Monday night Raw. Sheamus tips the scales by knocking out Miz with a clothesline and then both guys tag out at the same time. Ziggler roars in and knocks down Sandow. He hits a massive DDT and covers but Miz breaks it up. Sheamus responds by spilling Miz out of the ring. Ziggler hits a dropkick on Sandow and gets another near fall. Out of the ring, Miz and Sheamus brawl and Miz hits Sheamus with a chair but the ref doesn't see it. Inside the ring, Ziggler drops Sandow with a zig-zag and follows up with a pin.

Result: Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus defeat The Miz and Damien Sandow

Post-match, Miz runs to a safe distance and watches Sheamus take out his frustrations by whacking "Mizdow" with a chair.

After a few promos, WWE reminds us that Big Show made an international gaffe on Monday night by tearing down the Russian flag. He'll address that later.

Commercials come and go and we get another look at the Wyatt family vignette from Monday. Then the announce guys re-rack the Rusev/Big Show feud.

Inside the arena, there's a Divas match brewing as Naomi and Paige head to the ring. More commercials first, though.

WWE runs a quick video package of Paige and Alicia Fox working over AJ and then Naomi makes her appearance.

Naomi vs. Paige

Naomi looks really strong as this one gets underway and JBL says she might be the best athlete in WWE. Naomi hitsPaige with a cartwheel/headscissors DDT and Fox tries to pull her BFF out of the ring. Naomi responds by diving outside to plaster Fox and heads back into the ring. Paige meets her at the ropes and Naomi catches her with a high kick to the temple. Paige comes at her again and works Naomi into her submission hold. Naomi taps out shortly thereafter.

Result: Paige defeats Naomi via submission.

AJ's music hits and Fox jumps in the ring expecting that she'll join Paige in battle against AJ. Paige abandons Fox, though, and Fox gets a beatdown for her trouble. We later see that Paige hid out from AJ by putting on JBL's hat and cowering behind him. Kind of a funny way to end that one.

There's a commercial for Haven followed by other stuff and then Big Show lumbers out to kinda, sorta apologize for pulling down the Russian flag. For their part, WWE doesn't apologize for showing it 50 million times since it happened on Monday. That's cool, WWE. We get it. Anyway, Big Show says he probably shouldn't have done it and he formally and humbly apologizes to the Russian people. Then Rusev and Lana come out. Lana says they are not appeased and tells everyone to shut up. She demands a personal apology from Big Show. Show reiterates his apology to the people who he "may have inadvertently disrespected." He adds that he disrespected Rusev and Lana on purpose. Rusev gets the mic and says that Show and America suck and then he works over Show with the flagpole and polishes things off with a big ol' kick to Show's noggin. The crowd boos and Rusev waves the Russian flag with enthusiasm. Show slowly gets back to his feet and Rusev and Lana decide it's time to go. Big Show is standing tall in the ring to end the segment.

Fresh from the latest crop of commercials, Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil hit the ramp, followed by the Usos. Bell time.

The Usos vs. Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater

Jey Uso and Heath Slater start off and Heath tries to get control early on. Jimmy hits a move or two but Heath keeps on chugging. Adam Rose's bunny comes out and freaks everyone out, engaging in some shenanigans with Hornswoggle who is at ringside dressed as an alligator. Things degenerate into an absolute cluser as the Usos hit a double splash on their opponents and the bunny splashes on Hornswoggler.

Result: The Usos defeat Titus O'Neil and Heath Slater

Adam Rose brings his entourage out to celebrate after the match.

Backstage, Renee talks to Ambrose. He says he has nothing to say to or about John Cena. He says he'll take out everyone to get to Seth Rollins.

R-Truth vs. Cesaro

R-Truth jokes with the crowd about his "Green Bay" slip of the tongue a few years ago and the bell sounds. Cesaro drops him like a bag of dirt almost right off the bat and starts a slow grind on the mat before moving it to the corner. He lands a gutwrench suplex on R-Truth followed by a near fall. After a short spate of grappling, Cesaro wraps it up with a pinfall.

Result: Cesaro defeats R-Truth

After a break, Lilian acknowledges Bob Uecker in the crowd and they re-air Hulkster's appearance on Raw in which he discusses WWE's partnership with Susan G. Komen. And now, the main event is within sight?

John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane and Randy Orton

Orton and Kane are all smiles as the wait for their opponents. Cena comes out first and Ambrose gets a decent reception when he emerges. Ambrose tells Cena he wants to start first and locks up with Orton after the bell. He does a pretty convincing job of working over Orton from the get go and tags in Orton to keep it up. Cena drops Orton who just manages to tag in the Devil's favorite executive, Corporate Kane. Cena manages to get the jump on Kane, stunning the big man off the ropes. He tags in Ambrose and they pull off a double body slam . Dean stays in control until Kane hits him with a shoulder block. Kane tags in Orton who starts to work over Ambrose but Dean pulls away again and gets Orton on the mat before tagging in Cena. Orton and Cena go back and forth with a series of blows. Cena is knocked down briefly but springs back to life, tossing both opponents out of the ring. Dean Ambrose follows them with a suicide dive and WWE goes to commercial.

The match resumes in progress and Kane has Ambrose in a chokehold on the mat. Ambrose escapes but runs right into a big boot. Orton tags in and stomps all over Ambrose. The action spills outside of the ring and Ambrose pummels Orton on the announce table. Orton responds by putting Ambrose into the ring post spine-first. They get back in the ring and Orton garners a near-fall. Ambrose shakes it off and lands a dropkick on Orton from the second rope. He crawls toward Cena for the pin but Orton holds him off and tags in Kane. Kane whoops up on Ambrose some more and Dean tries again for the tag but Cena is distracted by the sight of Rollins on the ramp. He runs off after Seth, leaving Ambrose at the mercy of his opponents. Orton sticks a DDT and sets up for the RKO but Ambrose surges back and rolls him up for a near-fall. Kane jumps into the fray and double-teams Ambrose with Orton long enough to earn a DQ. An unfortunate finish to this one.

Result: Ambrose and Cena defeat Kane and Orton via DQ.

Post-match, they pick apart Ambrose until Cena ruins out for the save. The Authority guys taunt Cena from the ramp. Ambrose starts to wake up from his mugging and it's a safe bet he'll be pretty unhappy with everyone involved when this story picks up again after the weekend.
