WWE Superstars Recap: Kofi Kingston Vs. Sin Cara, Stardust In Solo Action

This week's show begins with the standard legal disclaimer, WWE flourish of hype, and the opening package. And just like that, we head to the ring.

Kofi Kingston vs. Sin Cara

After the bell, the guys shake hands in a show of sportsmanship. They both work the ropes a bit to show their moves and then move to some grappling in the center of the ring. Kofi works Sin Cara on to the mat to gain control. After they both make it upright again, Sin Cara slows Kofi down with sliding dropkick off the ropes. A vocal contingent of the crowd chants for Kofi as Sin Cara gets on top. Kofi bounces back, takes to the air and then follows up with the "Boom!" drop but fails to connect with Trouble in Paradise. Sin Cara turns it around again and works Kingston over in the corner. A nice series of spots ensues with each man quickly trading the advantage. The end comes quickly when Kofi hits Sin Cara with a kick to the head in mid-air and covers for the pin. The men show their mutual respect after the match.

Result: Kofi Kingston defeats Sin Cara via pinfall.

WWE presents a package for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and recaps the Ambrose?related shenanigans from Monday Night Raw. The Wyatt Family promo rolls next. Eventually, we make it back to the ring.

Jimmy Uso vs. Stardust

Both Usos come out for this singles match but Stardust emerges flying solo. After the bell, Stardust shows off a little and then they lock up. Jimmy asserts his size advantage quickly, putting Stardust on the mat and then up against the ropes. Stardust charges Jimmy and kicks him in the gut to gain control but it's short-lived and Jimmy comes back and busts a move of his own to celebrate. He then tosses Stardust out of the ring, stepping out to pursue his opponent. Stardust jumps up, pulls Jimmy off his feet and then jumps off the ring apron to take Jimmy out. WWE takes a quick break.

After the commercial spot, we're back in the ring to find Stardust all over Jimmy. He works Uso on to the mat for a rest hold and breaks it to tease everyone, including Jey who is watching on the outside. Stardust tries to do some damage on Jimmy using the ringpost, but Uso has enough in the tank to thwart the effort. Stardust charges back into the ring and Jimmy knocks him down. For a few seconds, both guys are down but when they get back up, Jimmy has found his second wind. They mix it up in a nice series of counter moves, Jimmy lands a Samoan drop and gets a near-fall. Stardust comes back once more but Jimmy clobbers him with a superkick as Stardust jumps off the ropes. Uso follows up with a splash and gets the pin.

Result: Jimmy Uso defeats Stardust via pinfall.

The show closes by revisiting Cena/Ambrose vs. Orton/Kane from Monday Night Raw.
