Above is audio from an interview WrestlingINC.com conducted with Lanny Poffo regarding a variety of topics, including his feelings on whether or not his late brother Randy “Macho Man” Savage will ever be inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame. We are posting interesting clips and stories from our interviews to our YouTube channel, so please take a moment to subscribe at youtube.com/WrestlingINC1.

“Don’t hold your breath; that’s all I’ve got to tell you,” said Poffo when asked if he thinks WWE will induct Savage into its Hall of Fame, which you can listen to above. “First of all, The Ultimate Warrior had an opportunity to get a lot off his chest before he died. Wasn’t that something? But no matter what happens, Randy is not going to get that opportunity? And who is going to make that speech? It’s not going to be as good as the Macho Man. They’ve waited way too long.”

Discussing the Hall of Fame itself, Poffo noted: “Randy enjoyed not being in the Hall of Fame. He was obviously super, extra-overqualified for the position, especially if I say, ‘There’s a 120 people in the Hall of Fame? How many can you name?’ ?You probably couldn’t name 60.”

“Randy was special because he was chosen,” Poffo continued. “He was chosen because he was special.”
