Jon Jones To Make Major Change?, Vitor Belfort Drug Test Results, Edgar Wants Shot Over McGregor

- Much has been made about a potential move to Heavyweight by current 205-pound UFC champion Jon "Bones" Jones.

"There's definitely a lot of heavyweights I know I can beat," Jones said at a press conference last week. "There's a lot of heavyweights I know that could give me a hell of a run or possibly beat me. I keep it real. I'm smaller than these guys."

Jones said that if he beats upcoming opponent Daniel Cormier and the winner of the Alexander Gustafsson/Anthony Johnson fight, a move to heavyweight could happen soon.

- Vitor Belfort passed a random out-of-state blood and urine screening which was administered on November 1. Despite Belfort being slated to fight in California in February, the Nevada Athletic Commission stayed true to their word and continued to test the middleweight contender.

Belfort was originally slated to face Chris Weidman in early 2014, before testosterone replacement therapy was banned by the NAC. Belfort stated that he had to give himself time to acclimate to the change.

- After stopping the six-fight winning streak of Cub Swanson, former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar outright stated he deserved the next featherweight title shot. Many expect that championship match to go to rising Irish star Conor McGregor.

"Based on what Cub has done in his past six or seven fights, the tear he's been on, and being able to go out there and finish him — I would've loved to have done it a little quicker — but I think I've done enough. Based on everything else I've done in my career, I think I'm that guy, I got tunnel vision on that title." Edgar said on the Fox Sports 1 post-fight show.

Conor McGregor will face Dennis Siver in January.
