- Sami Zayn comes to the ring looking dejected, but the crowd is behind him, chanting "Sami." He said he thought he had what it takes to be a champion, but last week proved otherwise. He asks NXT Champion Adrian Neville to come to the ring. Neville comes out limping.
Zayn says Neville doesn't owe him anything, but if he can't win the NXT title he doesn't belong there. Neville says he'd gladly grant Zayn a match, but that Zayn doesn't have anything to prove. Zayn cuts him off and yells at Neville, saying not to tell him what he needs to prove. Zayn is getting really emotional and William Regal's music hits.
Regal says Zayn is far from being a failure. He says he can't think of a bigger main event than Zayn vs. Neville for the NXT title. He says the match will happen at NXT Takeover on December 11. Neville says he's not prepared to let Zayn put his career on the line because he doesn't want to be responsible for ending Zayn's career. Zayn says if he can't win the title, he's done.
