ROH TV Results (11/16): TV Title Match, Six-Man Tag Team Action
Will Ferrara, Caprice Coleman, Tadarius Thomas vs. Decade (Strong, Page & Whitmer)
All six men start off by brawling in the ring until the three members of Decade retreat and eat baseball slides from all three opponents. Will Ferrara is then sent over the top rope on to Decade. Back inside Coleman hits Adam Page with a drop toe hold and hip toss before tagging out to Ferrara.
Ferrara hits an elbow and a clothesline but has a suplex blocked and Strong tags himself in. Strong doesn't fare much better and eats a dropkick from Ferrara, then some forearms. Finally Strong hits a dropkick of his own after Page nailed Ferrara in the back. Strong tags to Whitmer, who flattens Ferrara with a back suplex for two before the break.
Back from the break Whitmer has a modified Camel Clutch applies while he throws punches across the face of Ferrara. Strong is tagged back in gets Ferrara with a big backbreaker where he pulls Ferrara off the top rope onto his knee. Strong has Page and Whitmer attack the opponents.
Page tries to hand Strong a chair, but Strong doesn't want it. He and Ferrara go through a series of reversals until Ferrara comes up big with a jumping tornado DDT. Coleman gets the tag, as does Page. Coleman boxes Page and Strong up and lands a jumping top rope huracanrana on Whitmer. Coleman, on fire, hits a northern lights suplex on Page, then grabs Strong and Northern Lights them both for two. All the competitors end up outside and Coleman comes out with an Asai Moonsault on everyone.
Back inside Strong with a big suplerplex on Coleman, but gets Code Red from Ferrara. Whitmer runs in and boots Ferrara followed by a Saito Suplex. Thomas then hits the ring but eats a big punch from Page and is tossed out. Page then gets kicked by Coleman, but Page accidentally hits Strong and Coleman hits a running Party Foul for the win.
Winners: Will Ferrara, Caprice Coleman, Tadarius Thomas (via running Party Foul)
After the match Page and Whitmer turn on Strong but he fights back and clears the ring.
- Kevin Kelly is in the ring talking to Raymond Rowe but Adam Page and BJ Whitmer interrupt him and taunt him, telling him to leave the ring. Rowe is infuriated but RoH officials stop him from doing anything and he leaves. Whitmer says Strong was a wild card and a cancer, and they had to cut the cancer out of Decade.
- An Adam Cole promo is shown. He says he's going to take the ROH title from Jay Briscoe at Final Battle.
ROH Television Championship
Jay Lethal (c) (w/ Truth Martini) vs. ACH
Lethal stalls to start but is stuck in an early hammerlock. He tries to snapmare and sit his way out, but ACH keeps getting it back. ACH shows off and cartwheels his way out of an Irish whip but pays the price by eating a dropkick out of a Jay Lethal cartwheel before the break.
Back from commercial the two are slugging it out and Lethal goes for a Lethal Injection, but ACH ties him upside down in the ropes and kicks him. ACH is unable to capitalize however, as Lethal hits a flapjack for two. Lethal drags ACH to the apron and beats on him while Truth Martini takes pictures on his phone and ACH flips him off. Lethal tries a sunset flip but ACH does a Matrix-type move, then lands a big double stomp to Lethal's chest.
The two go back and forth trading strikes, but neither gains a clear advantage until Lethal hits a big series of forearms. Lethal keeps calling for the Lethal Injection but ACH keeps grabbing the waistlock. Each time Lethal elbows out, with the last time sending ACH tumbling out of the ring and almost into Matt Sydal, who is doing commentary.
Back from commercial officials are leading ACH to the back after taking a nasty spill to the outside. Lethal is bragging about it but ACH comes back and attacks Lethal. He tosses Jay back into the ring but Lethal goes right to work on the injured neck of ACH with elbows, knees, and chinlocks.
ACH works to his feet and out of the chinlock, then avoids a corner splash by Lethal. ACH chops Lethal but can't whip him to the ropes, so he blasts Jay with a discus punch and then an RVD-style enziguri. Lethal sends ACH over the top rope, but ACH grabs Lethals head and lands an RKO onto the top rope. ACH leaps off the top rope with a double stomp to Lethal's back but only gets two!
ACH goes to the top rope and Lethal slows him down. ACH instead slingshots off the ropes and hits a reverse STO that sends Lethal outside. ACH steps on the second rope inside the ring and flies over on to Lethal with a monster swan dive senton. Breath taking. Back inside ACH hits a big kick and almost gets the pin but Lethal kicks out.
Lethal is desperately holding on to ACH's foot to keep him from climbing the ropes, and then tosses him into the buckle. Lethal follows up with a superkick and then a Lethal Injection but only gets 2! The crowd is going nuts. Lethal instead goes to a modified DDT and wins.
Winner: Jay Lethal (via modified DDT)
Matt Sydal gets in the ring and checks on ACH. He passes up a handshake from Lethal and makes it known he wants a TV title shot.
