UFC 180 "Countdown" Video, Shogun Rua On Retirement, UFC Announces Colorado Return

- "Countdown" debuted Sunday for UFC 180, as the pre-hype show featured Fabricio Werdum and Mark Hunt. You can see the episode in the video above, as the two meet this Saturday night for the interim heavyweight title.

Werdum was scheduled to fight Cain Velasquez in Mexico City in the UFC's debut in the country, but Velasquez suffered a knee injury in training. Officials tabbed Hunt as his replacement, and put the interim title up for grabs.

Wrestling Inc. will have complete main card coverage and full results this weekend.

- Despite suffering another loss via knockout, former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua isn't ready to call an end to his career. Rua was defeated by Ovince St. Preux this past weekend in his native home of Brazil.

"Losing is always bad," Rua said. "When a punch lands, you feel it (in this weight class). I'm going to get through this loss and talk to my team, think about the future. I made a mistake. Defeats always suck."

Rua (22-10) has gone just 2-5 in his last seven bouts and is now 6-8 overall with the UFC. He will coach on the upcoming fourth season of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil opposite Anderson Silva.

- The UFC train will roll into Colorado this coming February, as officials announced plans for a Fight Night card on Valentine's Day. No bouts were made official for the February 14 event.

The card will take place from the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, which is just outside of Denver. Donald Cerrone, a native of the state, could look to make a quick turnaround and fight after meeting Myles Jury in January.
