Alberto Del Rio's Third ROH Opponent, Wrestler Asks Fan To Prom, Trish Stratus, Vic Venom Returning

- Above is a cool video of Ace Perry asking his #1 fan Amanda if he can take her to her high school prom. This took place after Perry's match with Jimmy Jacobs at IWA Midsouth's Big Ass Christmas Bash.

- As noted earlier, Alberto "El Patron," f.k.a. Alberto Del Rio, will make his ROH debut against Christopher Daniels at the next set of ROH TV tapings on January 3rd in Nashville. Del Rio will also face ACH at ROH's January 30th event in Dearborn, Michigan. ROH announced today that El Patron will face Roderick Strong at their January 31st event at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio. - Steel Cage Monthly announced that the first edition of their new digital wrestling magazine will release on March 16, 2015, and will feature a column from Vic Venom (Vince Russo), who used to write for the WWF Raw magazine in the late 1990s. - Masters of Ring Entertainment, LLC, a special events pro wrestling organization, announced the launch of its second event to take place in Wilmington, NC at the Coastline Convention Center (503 Nutt St, Wilmington, NC 28401). On Saturday, May 23, 2015, Masters of Ring Entertainment will be producing the first ever evening tribute to women in pro wrestling, Lasting Legacy: A Tribute to Women in Wrestling, which will be headlined by 2013 WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

"I'm honored to have been asked to be a part of this inaugural event," Stratus said. "To be able to contribute to such a special event that will highlight the women in our industry really means a lot."
