Bullet Club Members Joke With AJ Styles About Breaking Necks With His Finisher
AJ Styles joined Rocky Romero and fellow Bullet Club members Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson on the latest installment of MLW Radio's "Talk'n Shop Podcast" (Episode #23). The hosts mentioned recent reports that Styles broke Yoshi Tatsu's neck with the Styles Clash and Styles indicated his wife had seen discussions about the matter on Twitter.
Styles was jokingly referred to as "Career Ender" and "You Little Neckbreaker" at the beginning of his appearance.
Luke Gallows then sang an improvised song about Styles with lyrics that included, "They call him AJ/He's Phenomenal/If you're not careful, he'll break your neck/Yes, break your neck/He'll drop you hard/And you don't know how/To take a bump/And you'll go online/'cause you're an indy mark/And you'll make comments/because you f?king suck?" Gallows went on to ridicule fans who criticize use of the Styles Clash, saying that they don't know how to take a bump because they've never been in "the big leagues."
Styles commented, "They're not going to think I'm very compassionate because of your song."
The entire group also discussed the forthcoming NJPW's forthcoming Wrestle Kingdom 9 show with great enthusiasm, noting that the show will be carried worldwide by a number of pay-per-view providers. They compared NJPW's style to the early years of TNA's X-Division and Styles talked briefly about how Samoa Joe changed things up when he signed TNA in 2005. Styles referred to Hulk Hogan's decision to make all X-Division matches three-way dances as "a stupid idea."
