CM Punk On TV Tonight, Florida Georgia Line Talk WWE Tribute To The Troops, Trees For Troops
- WTVM in Columbus, GA ran the story above regarding last night's WWE Tribute to the Troops taping (full results are here). Country music band Florida Georgia Line, who performed at the event, discussed the importance of the show.
"My grandfather served in World War II. I never got to meet him," said Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line. "He received two Purple Hearts. We believe in our troops. We're very lucky to get to do what we do. We love our freedom and we support our troops 100 percent and this night's all about them. We're very, very honored that they chose us – WWE and the troops chose us to be here, and we're just going to go all out for them."
