Ring Of Honor TV Report (11/30): Adam Cole Vs. Matt Sydal, Jay Briscoe In Impromptu Match

QT Marshall vs. Cheeseburger

The two follow the code of honor, but Marshall pie faces Cheeseburger and gets slapped for his troubles. Cheeseburger uses his speed to counter about four or five of Marshall's offensive attempts sending him to the outside.

Cheeseburger with a springboard press, but then gets slammed on the apron and guardrail, then tossed back in the ring. Marshall gets on the commentary headset, then comes back in and knees Cheeseburger. Marshall hits a big powerslam as Cheeseburger tries to come back but only gets two.

Marshall misse an elbow drop and then eats an elbow and a boot from Cheesburger, who is fighting back. Marshall almost gets caught with a schoolboy and a victory roll but kicks out of both. Cheeseburger scores with a big tilt-a-whirl DDT, but only gets a two count.

Cheeseburger gets caught coming of the top rope and Marshall lands a Dominator for the win.

Winner: QT Marshall (via Dominator)

Marshall is on the mic and says he didn't come back to ROH to face underdogs, he came back to face the best. Jay Briscoe comes out and the two brawl, and start a match.

Briscoe lays a beating on Marshall with strikes and a big clothesline in the corner. J Driller for the win.

Adam Page (w/ BJ Whitmer) vs. Aaron Solo

Page slugs Solo in the face instead of adhering to the code of honor. Solo answers with a dropkick for two. Solo is tossed outside and eats guardrail HARD. I really can't do it justice with words. He's going to be cleaning guardrail out of his toilet all week.

Back in the ring, Page is choking Solo on the ropes. Page misses a clothesline and Solo lands a neckbreaker. Solo takes his time and hits double knees in the corner, but Page does a flip over clothesline for two. Page hits the Guillotine Driver for three.

Winner: Adam Page (via Guillotine Driver)

- Page takes the mic and cuts a promo on Roderick Strong, saying he will capitalize on his opportunity at Final Battle. Roderick Strong comes out and chases Page and Whitmer to the back.

Matt Sydal vs. Adam Cole

Thw two lock up and Cole backs Sydal into the corner. The two go through a wristlock/arm ringer chain series. Cole tries to escape but Sydal holds on to the face lock. Sydal with a waist lock and Cole backs Sydal into the corner. Cole with a kick and side head lock out of a fake test of strength. Cole with a shoulder tackle. Sydal with arm drags into an arm bar. Sydal with a crucifix for a near fall.

The two trade armlocks but Sydal counters with a back drop but Cole holds on for a sunset flip. Sydal hits a double stomp. Sydal rolls Cole up and then hits a leg drop to the back of the head for a two count. Sydal hits a kick in the corner, followed but Cole hits an elbow to a charging Sydal but Sydal scores with a huracanrana and drop kick that sends Cole goes to the floor.

Cole gets back in the ring and Sydal hits a shoulder from the apron and goes for a sunset flip but Cole avoids it. Sydal hits a head scissors and spin kick, followed by a wrist lock that Cole turns to a waist lock. Sydal sends Cole over the top rope to the floor.

Sydal with a baseball slide that sends Cole into the guardrails. Sydal tries a suicide dive but Cole kicks Sydal. Cole whips Sydal into the guardrails bows for the crowd. Cole breaks the count and sends Sydal back in the ring. Cole hits a suplex and gets a near fall.

Cole sends Sydal into the turnbuckles and then he Irish whips Sydal but Sydal with a kick as Cole charges into the corner. Sydal goes for a cross body but Cole counters with a drop kick and he gets a near fall as we go to a commercial break.

Back from commercial Sydal kicks Cole, but Cole fires back with a back breaker for a near fall. Cole with forearms but Sydal with a kick and chops. Cole with a slam and a rear chinlock. Sydal gets back to his feet and works his way out with strikes. Cole scores with a forearm and tries a belly-to-back suplex but Sydal counters with a lateral press for a two before the commercial.

Back rfom the break Sydal hits a jumping knee to the head. Sydal with kicks but then Cole avoids a jumping round kick. Sydal score a big crucifix bomb but only gets two. Sydal goes to the turnbuckles but Cole gets up and Sydal jumps over Cole. Cole has bicycle kick blocked by Sydal and Sydal scores a leg sweep and a standing moonsault for two.

Sydal tries a suplex but its blocked by Cole, who hits a forearm to the back. then Sydal reverses a suplex of his own and hits a lariat. Sydal goes for a standing moonsault but Cole counters with a roll-up for a near fall. Cole sets for a super kick but Sydal gets his hands up so Cole goes for the knees and scores.

Cole tries for a shoulder breaker and Sydal blocks it. Cole hits the shoulder breaker and he gets a for two and locks on the figure four leg lock. Sydal gets to the ropes to break the hold. The two trade forearms, repeatedly. Sydal with a reverse huracanrana that sends Cole to the floor. Sydal goes up top and hits a double knee onto Cole to the floor. Lethal berates Sydal as they stare at each other. Sydal slaps Lethal and sends him into the announce table and Sydal forearms Lethal.

Sydal goes up top and Cole returns to the ring. Lethal gets on the apron and the referee argues with Lethal as Sydal comes off the turnbuckles and is met with a super kick. Cole with a Shining Wizard but he can only get a near fall. Cole tries for a super kick but Sydal blocks it and Sydal with a jumping spin kick followed by a suplex that sends Cole's feet into the turnbuckles. Sydal goes up top for the shooting star press but Lethal gets on the apron to distract Sydal one more time. Cole hits the Florida Key for the win following a super kick.

Winner: Adam Cole (via Florida Key)

Lethal and Sydal go at it after the match, and Jay Briscoe comes out and attacks Cole. Tommaso Ciampa comes out and attacks Briscoe, then Sydal hits a Shooting Star one everyone as the credits roll.
