Ring Of Honor TV Report (12/14): Tag Wars Qualifying Matches, Young Bucks, Kazarian & Daniels, More

The show kicks off with the Briscoes talking about Tag Wars, saying that Truth Martini won't be able to buy his way to the tag titles, and the Briscoes will become nine time champions.

Tag Wars Qualifying match
Jay Lethal and J Diesel (w/ Truth Martini) vs. Briscoe Brothers

Mark and Jay Lethal start things off, with Lethal taunting Briscoe. Lethal eats a shoulder block, but won't tag in Diesel, who is foaming at the mouth. Briscoe hits three more shoulder blocks then knocks Diesel off the apron.

Diesel is upset, and gets tagged in. Mark goes to shoulder block Diesel but he doesn't go down, so follows up with a clothesline before tagging Jay Briscoe. Jay goes at Diesel with punches and headbutts, but eats a boot from Diesel. Briscoe counters with a clothesline that sends Diesel outside before the commercial.

Back from the break Briscoe is putting a beating on Lethal, but all four men end up in the ring. Lethal is sent to the floor as Mark catches Diesel with a big boot for a two count. A body slam and an elbow drop from Mark gets two on Diesel.

Jay with a front face lock but Diesel backs Jay into the corner and Lethal tags in and he connects with elbows and head butts. Jay blocks the Irish whip into the turnbuckles and knocks Diesel from the apron. Mark tries to get into the ring but the referee sends him back to the apron. The refes back is turned on Diesel and Truth trip Jay and pulling him crotch first into the ring post.

Lethal with a quick slam beore tagging Diesel in, who follows up with a boot and a clothesline. Diesel blasts Mark with an elbow and a boot, before he and Lethal get a two count on a double suplex.

Lethal throws on a chin lock and sets Jay Briscoe on the buckles and goes for a Super Gibson Driver, but Briscoe punches his way out and gets a superplex. Diesel and Mark get tagged in and Mark uses his redneck kung fu beore scoring on an overhead suplex. Lethal super kicks Mark, then does a springboard dropkick to Jay Briscoe.

Lethal sets for a suicide dive onto Jay gets caught with a forearm that keeps Lethal in the ring Jay hits a splash in the corner on Diesel, followed by Mark with a clothesline for a near fall. Mark scores on a drop drop kick to Lethal and Jay hits a J Driller. Mark goes up top for the elbow drop and gets the pin.

Result: Briscoes via pinfall (Top rope elbow drop)

Tag Wars Qualifying Match
Decade (Jimmy Jacobs & BJ Whitmer) vs. The Addiction (Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels)

Decade attacks Kaz and Daniels while they enter the ring and brawl onn the floor as the match is started. Whitmer works Daniels over with a forearm, shoulder tackle, body slam and Elbow drop as Kaz sends Jacobs inot the ring. Daniels counters and tosses Whitmer into the buckles as Kaz tags in and the two hit a kick, clothesline, senton combo for two.

Jacobs grabs Kaz and allows Whitmer to kick him before Jacobs tags in. Kaz answers with a big facebuster and Russian leg sweep for two. Kaz with a running neck breaker, Daniels with a delayed vertical suplex and then Kaz throws Jacobs into Daniels' boot. Daniels hits his slingshot elbow drop, followed by an immediate tag and a slingshot leg drop for two.

Jacobs tosses Kaz to the apron and Whitmer blocks a suplex attempts to the floor and drops Kaz with a big punch. Jacobs also sends Daniels to the floor, and both of Decade hit suicide dives onto The Addiction. Whitmer sends Daniels into the guardrail as we go to commercial.

Back from the break Whitmer hits an assisted curb stomp and chokes Kaz on the rops. Whitmer chops Kaz, who tries to fight back with forearms, but Kaz gets sent into Jacobs' boot. Decade sends Kaz into the buckles repeatedly for the two count.

Whitmer is in as Decade hits a powerbomb/neckbreaker combo for a nearfall. Whitmer and Kaz have a big exchange until Whitmer rakes the eyes of Kaz and tags Jacobs. A big double leg and forearms gets two for Jacobs. Whitmer tags back in and quickly scores with a snap mare, elbow and then locks on a chin lock. Daniels finalls gets the tag and cleans house with an enziguri on Whitmer before knocking Jacobs off the apron.

Daniels wiht a kick and an STO, then drves Jacobs into Whitmer and hits a quebrada for a two count. He sets up for Angel's Wings but gets hit by Jacobs. Whitmer hits a European uppercut, followed by a cutter off the buckles by Jacobs. Whitmer gets a Saito suplex for two.

Daniels counters a uranage with an arm drag, and tags Kaz. Kaz hits a shoulder and then a slingshot DDT but only gets two. Daniels comes in with a boot and he tries for Angel's Wings but Whitmer counters with a back body drop. Kazarian gets the pin with a Tomikaze.

Result: The Addiction via pinfall (Tomikaze)

- reDRagon says they think ROH is panicking, and any team that wants a title shot can just ask.

Tag Wars Qualifier
Young Bucks vs. ACH & Matt Sydal

Nick and ACH start off with a chain series that ends with ACH doing a backflip into a dropkick. ACH grabs a wristlock and tags in Sydal, who comes off the top witha double stomp to the arm. Nick punches out of the wrist lock and tags Matt.

Matt trolls Sydal into a test of strength and kicks him, but Sydal fights back with a head scissors, drop kick, running elbow in the corner and a boot for two. Matt comes back with a head scissors of his own but misses a superkick, which allows Sydal to sweep him and hit a standing moonsault for two.

Matt goes to the floor and Sydal follows. Nick kicks Sydal off of the apron and then Matt hits a drop kick through the ropes to ACH. Nick kicks Sydal on the floor and sends Sydal back into the ring. Matt kicks Sydal in the head before the commercial.

Back from the break the Young Bucks hit a double back elbow on Sydal before Matt puts him in a double chicken wing. Nick hits a back heel kick, a gutbuster, and then the Young Bucks hit a flip neckbreaker/backbreaker combo for a near fall.

Matt does the cartwheel somersault flip back rake, then choke Sydal on the ropes before switching to a chin lock. Matt works Sydal over as they tease Sydal making the hot tag, but is prevented. Sydal tries to fight back but gets super kicked, for a two count as ACH is knocked off the apron. Sydal blocks an assisted shiranui, and leglariat/jawbreaker on the Young Bucks, knocking everyone down.

ACH finally makes the tag and cleans house. He goes up top but Nick pulls Matt down to the floor. They aren't safe there, however, as ACH comes over the top rope with the Fosbury Flop on the Bucks. ACH comes off the top and hits a double foot stomp on Matt Jackson while Sydal hits Nick with the double knees.

Nick pushes the ref into the ropes and knocks Sydal off the top. The Bucks hit an assisted Shiranui and a tornado DDT off the apron onto Sydal on the loor. ACH manages to get out of More Bang For Your Buck, but the Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver for a two count as Sydal breaks it up! The Bucks set up a double superkick but Sydal ducks and scores an awesome double huracanrana. Sydal gets a big leaping knee, which is followed by a springboard Flatliner from ACH. Sydal comes off the top with the Shooting Star Press, and ACH with a 450 for the win.

Result: ACH and Matt Sydal via pinfall (Shooting Star Press and 450 Splash)
