TNA Lockdown Airing On Free TV, Another Big Match Announced For TNA NYC Tapings (Updated)

TNA is gearing up for their first set of television tapings since September with three shows from January 7 – 9 at the Manhattan Center in New York City for the Impact Wrestling debut on Destination America. TNA announced tonight that the January 9th show will be the 2015 edition of Lockdown, which will air on an episode of Impact on Destination America and will feature every match taking place inside of a steel cage.

It was announced earlier that Bobby Roode will defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Lashley on the live January 7th episode. TNA also announced tonight that The Hardys will face The Wolves at the January 8th taping.

Updated 11:58 PM ET: An earlier version of this article stated that the Lockdown episode would air live. However, the show will be taped on January 9th for a future episode of Impact. Here is the announcement from TNA:

"On Friday, January 9th, TNA is bringing the six-sides of steel for an episode of Impact. For the first time ever, LOCKDOWN will be on broadcast TV with every match contested inside the steel cage during this very special episode on Destination America. The first place you can see this great night of action is LIVE in NYC."
