UFC President Dana White Open To Talking To CM Punk

CM Punk's stock is higher than ever in his absence, and even though he has a no compete-clause that includes the UFC, that door may not be completely shut.

UFC President Dana White was asked about the former WWE Champion, and seemed open to the idea of negotiating with him in the future.

"He is a big fan," White told TMZ this week. "I like him very much. He's a great dude. I don't know if he can fight or anything like that, but sure. I wouldn't mind talking to CM Punk."

CM Punk said that he laughed off the idea of WWE including UFC in his no-compete clause during Colt Cabana's podcast last week. Publicly the WWE states that UFC isn't competition.

UFC reached a peak on pay-per-view when current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar competed under the banner from 2008 to 2011.
