WWE Live Event Results From Chicago (12/26): Barrett Returns, Reigns Vs. Rusev, NXT Stars

- Thanks to Harry Lopez for the following WWE live event results from Friday night's show at the Allstate Arena in Chicago:

* Sin Cara defeated Justin Gabriel.

* Los Matadores and El Torito defeated Tyler Breeze, Hornswoggle and Titus O'Neil when Fernando hit Titus with a Backstabber. This was one for the kids and Breeze seemed out of place.

* Bad News Barrett came out for his return match but has some bad news. He says Chicago is second rate and he can think of many other cities that he would like to make his return in.

* R-Truth defeated Adam Rose, who had the Rosebuds but no Bunny. This was another match for the kids and the new direction Rose is going in isn't working. Rose got mad after the match and yelled at the Rosebuds.

* Roman Reigns defeated Rusev by disqualification with the United States Championship on the line. Rusev hit Reigns with his title to get the DQ. Reigns cut a promo before the match and they went right at it. Rusev tried to walk out on the match but Reigns brought him back to the ring. These two worked together much better than expected and it was a solid big man power match. Rusev and Lana celebrate after the match but Reigns recovers and hits a spear.

* Charlotte, Natalya and Naomi defeated Sasha Banks, Cameron and Summer Rae in a Santa's Little Helper tag match when Cameron tapped to a Sharpshooter. Both Sasha and Charlotte got good reactions to be from NXT, and they should have because they were the highlight of the match.

* Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods defeated Cesaro & Tyson Kidd and Stardust & Goldust in what was billed as a #1 contender's match. The New Day hit a double team sequence on Stardust to win the match. This was one of the best matches of the night.

* Dean Ambrose defeated Bray Wyatt in a fun Chicago Street Fight. Fans chanted for tables and got table bumps from both Superstars. They fought hard from bell to bell and Ambrose celebrated to end a great show overall.
