WWE TLC: The New Day Vs. Goldust And Stardust (Kickoff Pre-Show)
- The 2014 WWE TLC Kickoff pre-show kicks off from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Renee Young is on the panel with Alex Riley, Booker T and Paul Heyman. Booker talks about how brutal TLC is. They talk about John Cena vs. Seth Rollins and Renee asks Heyman for his thoughts. Heyman reminds us he is the advocate for WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. He says Lesnar has a vested interest in tonight's main event. Renee hypes The New Day vs. Goldust and Stardust. We go backstage to Tom Phillips in the social media lounge and he reveals Dolph Ziggler will be answering fan questions on Twitter. We go to a commercial.
- Renee hypes Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt and we get a video. We go backstage to The Miz and Damien Sandow. Naomi tells Miz she doesn't trust him and will make it on her own without his help. Miz says he knows he's talking to Naomi's husband, not her. He rips Jimmy Uso and talks about getting her a deal with a music producer. He says his wife isn't jealous but Jimmy will always be. Miz says the music deal will not be on the table after tonight but he wants Naomi's help keeping his titles. She's not interested. Miz promises if he wins tonight, she wins tonight. He walks off. We get more talk from the panel and come back from another commercial. They discuss the Stairs Match with Big Show and Erick Rowan. Riley breaks down the anatomy of the steel stairs with graphics. Heyman says he doesn't know much about Rowan and is concerned for him. We go backstage to Tom Phillips in the social media lounge. He's with Ziggler and they answer some fan questions on what Dolph thought of Sting's WWE debut and if he ever has his sights on the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Ziggler says one day he would love to be champion and get a shot at Brock Lesnar. Ziggler talks about getting the Intercontinental Title back tonight and says he's going to set the bar.
The New Day vs. Goldust and Stardust
We go to the ring to Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler. Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods make their way out first. Stardust and Goldust are out next. It's Big E and Kofi Kingston competing for The New Day.
Kofi and Goldust start off with some back and forth. Big E comes in and Goldust ends up on the floor. Stardust comes in with his new neon paint and gets a pop. They lock up and Big E slams him. Big E with more offense and another 2 count. Kofi tags in for some double teaming and a 2 count. Goldust and Stardust end up on the floor. Kofi runs the ropes and Big E launches him out onto the heels. Stardust comes back in for a 1 count by Big E. Stardust turns it around and stomps on Goldust before tagging in Goldust. Goldust with a running boot and a 2 count. Stardust comes back in to go at it with Big E but gets caught charging in the corner. Kofi tags in and unloads on Stardust. Kofi hits the Boom Drop.
Kofi goes to the top but gets knocked off. Goldust tags in and throws Kofi into the barrier. Goldust talks trash to Big E now. Goldust brings it back in and tags in Stardust for some double teaming. More quick tags between Stardust and Goldust as they keep control of Kofi. Big E finally tags in and unloads on both. He hits a double spear in the corner and tosses Stardust across the ring. Big E runs the ropes and splashes Stardust. Goldust stops The Big Ending on Stardust but gets sent to the floor. Stardust nails Big E from behind for a 2 count but Kofi breaks the pin. Stardust and Goldust double team Big E but Kofi tags himself in. He pulls Goldust to the floor and they hit the double team finisher on Stardust for the win.
Winners: Kofi Kingston and Big E
- After the match, The New Day celebrates in the ring.
- The panel talks about tonight's Divas Title Match before we get another break. The panel talks about tonight's Chairs Match with Kane vs. Ryback. Heyman says Ryback hurts people and others don't want to get in the ring with him. We come back from a commercial and Renee reveals that Ziggler vs. Harper will open tonight's pay-per-view. We get a promo for Rollins vs. Cena next. Renee confirms Lesnar will defend his title at the Royal Rumble. We get more hype for the pay-per-view and that's it for the pre-show.
