Another Report For Last Night's WWE Live Event In Sacramento: Roman Reigns Vs. Rusev, Riley, More
Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Phil for sending in these results for last night's WWE live event in Sacramento:
Adam Rose v. Justin Gabriel
Adam Rose only had seven Rosebuds with him (no bunny present), and lost a relatively quick match to Justin Gabriel via pinfall.
Tyler Breeze v. Darren Young
Back and forth match with some good bumps. Ended strangely when Big Show inexplicably came out and knockout punched Darren Young (who won via DQ), and then did the same thing to Tyler Breeze.
Jack Swagger v. Kane
This match moved rather slowly, and had the feel of a match that was put together rather quickly with little or no preparation. Kane eventually hit the choke slam for the win.
Usos v. Miz and Mizdow
Probably the match of the night. Lots of good action, Miz cut a good promo, and Mizdow once again stole the show with his antics. Ended on an Uso Splash to pin Miz for the win.
Alex Riley v. Sin Cara
This one probably wins for most confusing match of the night. Huge slow spots with Riley outside the ring or complaining to the ref/audience. At one point, Riley fell out of the ring and knocked the railing into a young fan (who appeared to be okay after a minute or two). Sin Cara won via pinfall, and in one of the night's brighter spots, picked up the young fan who was hit by the railing and celebrated with him on the apron.
Six Diva Tag Team Match: Naomi, Emma & Summer Rae v. Cameron, Sasha Banks & Alicia Fox
So hard to tell if divas are faces or heels these days. Decent match, with the team of Naomi/Emma/Summer Rae picking up the win. Funny moment: as the winning divas went back up the ramp and turned to celebrate with the audience one last time, the screen behind them malfunctioned and showed Sin Cara's graphic for several moments.
Main Event: Roman Reigns v. Rusev
Solid match from both competitors. Lana cut a promo before the match condeming America (shocking), and when Reigns hit the ring, he cut a promo of his own, telling Rusev and Lana that "they looked lost" in America. Several near falls, but the match ended when Big Show once again came out from the locker room, causing the DQ and allowing Reigns to pick up the win. Show and Rusev beat on reigns for several minutes after the match; Show went for the knockout punch, but Reigns ducked under it and hit a double-spear on both men. Reigns celebrated on the corners and around the ring to send the crowd home happy.
