Nick Diaz Arrives In Las Vegas, Rampage Jackson's UFC Return Fight Set, UFC PPV Prices Going Up
- As we reported yesterday, Nick Diaz did indeed show up to Las Vegas for UFC 183 after missing several flights and open workouts. Diaz is scheduled to take on #1-ranked middleweight Anderson Silva in the main event of the show. You can see video of Diaz arriving above on the most recent episode of UFC Embedded.
Wrestling Inc will be providing full coverage of UFC 183 this Saturday starting with the preliminary bouts at 6:30 pm EST.
- The UFC pay-per-view prices have increased, according to multiple providers. The new price will be $59.99 for an HD feed, and $49.99 for an SD feed. UFC 168 and UFC 182 saw these price increases, although many expected both to be just special circumstances. The UFC pointed to accelerated expenses for the hike.
- After a 3-0 run in Bellator MMA, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson re-signed with the UFC late last year. Today, Jackson signed a bout agreement to face #14-ranked Fabio Maldonado in April.
Jackson terminated his agreement with Bellator MMA after the company refused to reveal actual pay-per-view numbers to him, something that was stipulated in his contract. Rampage Jackson posted the following on Instagram today:
