Update On ECW Originals Possibly Appearing In Tonight's WWE Royal Rumble Main Event

- There was some speculation about WWE using former ECW guys in tonight's 30-man Royal Rumble main event but a report came out several weeks ago that the idea had been nixed. The idea was to use former ECW guys to get a big pop from the Philadelphia crowd.

Word now is that we may see an appearance from just one ECW guy instead of several. The feeling is that WWE officials don't want several ECW guys getting bigger pops than their regular Superstars. There's also the belief that WWE's Kevin Dunn doesn't like ECW and feels it's not important enough to still be paying tribute to.
