WWE Superstars Results: Jack Swagger Gets A Win, Goldust And Stardust In Action
This 300th episode of WWE Superstars kicks off with all of the musical introductions that you've come to expect. After the dust settles, we head down to ringside.
Jack Swagger vs. Titus O'Neil
Titus shows some aggression early in the match, forcing Swagger into the corner but Jack retaliates and turns it around. He gets fired up and tries to catch Titus in the Patriot Lock but O'Neil grabs a rope. Titus then gets on top of things and whoops on Swagger with some clubbing blows to the back. He keeps the upper hand for a lengthy stretch, thwarting a rally by Swagger. Jack ultimately comes back and softens up Titus's ankle before landing the Patriot Lock once again. O'Neil quickly taps.
Result: Jack Swagger wins via submission.
WWE re-racks the opening segment from this week's Raw and we revisit highlights from the Dean Ambrose/Bray Wyatt feud and a recap of their Ambulance match. After that, we get back to the ring.
Los Matadores vs. Goldust and Stardust
Goldust starts off against Fernando. Stardust tags in quickly and falls victim to a double-team as Diego gets involved. Diego stays legal and the Matadores team up again to dump both of the Dust Brothers outside. Then they tease a suicide dive but they don't follow though. After a short break, we return to the action, finding Diego still on top of things as he goes against Stardust. Stardust turns things around, working over Diego and then tagging in Goldust. Goldie stays in charge for a while, using some mat work to keep things in hand. Stardust tags back in and after El Torito provides a momentary distraction, Diego musters up a bit of offense and Fernando gets the tag. Fernando takes control and after some miscommunication between Goldust and Stardust on the apron, Stardust inadvertently KO's his bro with a huge kick. In the confusion that follows, Stardust is rolled up for the three-count. It's worth noting that the announce team did a great job of keeping track of which member of Los Matadores was in action throughout this match.
Result: Los Matadores defeat Goldust and Stardust via pinfall.
