WWE Superstars Results: Summer Rae Gets A Win, 6-Man Tag Action
We get busy with some music, pyro and video and then it's time to hit the ring?
Summer Rae vs. Cameron
The announce team sets this one up as something of a logical extension of Total Divas. Well that's fine, then. The bell sounds and Summer tries to get all up in it but Cameron wants to consult her looking glass a little longer. Summer Rae gets the mirror and mocks her opponent, prompting Cameron to mount an attack. Summer teases Cameron a bit and Cameron responds with some rough stuff. She works Summer over on the ropes and then delivers a vicious taunting. A near-fall follows and then a bit of mat work in which Cameron stays in the dominant position. She tries to get a submission but it's just not happening. The former Funkadactyl remains in control until she misses a leg drop. Renee roars back after that and ultimately garners the pinfall victory.
Result: Summer Rae defeats Cameron via pinfall.
WWE re-racks The Authority's return to Raw and the firing of Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, and Ryback. Then we get a recap of the opening segment from this week's Raw and a replay of the John Cena/Seth Rollins Lumberjack match. We also get a gander at Daniel Bryan's return to Raw. After that, we get some new stuff?
Los Matadors and Justin Gabriel vs. Fandango, Goldust and Stardust
Fandango and Justin Gabriel get going off the bell and Fandango thinks he has the jump on Gabriel until Justin takes him down with some fancy moves. Fandango escapes and tags in Stardust. Gabriel brings him down and stays in control, bringing in Diego. Diego hits Stardust hard and tags Fernando. Stardust bails when he can't get the upper hand on his opponent.
After a short break, we're back in the ring and Stardust has gained the upper hand for the moment. Fandango comes in and Diego ends up as the legal man for his team. Fandango drills Diego into the corner and brings in Goldust who gets a near-fall right off the bat. A short time later, Stardust gets back in to deliver more punishment, bringing Goldust back into the fray in short order. Goldie works his opponent on the mat and when they get back up, Fernando turns it around just long enough to tag in Diego. Stardust comes in from the other side and can't quite keep up with Diego. A melee breaks out and most of the guys end up on the outside. Goldie and Stardust team up on Diego and Stardust kicks him square in the face, following with a cover and the three-count.
Result: Fandango, Goldust and Stardust defeat Los Matadors and Justin Gabriel.
Rounding out the show, WWE shares the Macho Man's Hall of Fame announcement package and the Royal Rumble contract signing between John Cena, Seth Rollins and John Cena. With that, we're all done with WWE Superstars until next week.
