Kevin Owens' Parents At NXT Takeover, RVD Movie Update, More On Ric Flair Segment At NXT Tapings
- The Miami Herald has an article on Kevin Owens' parents Terry and Suzanne watching his NXT Title win at Takeover on Wednesday night. Kevin's dad Terry commented:
"We're very, very proud of him. We're living the dream with him. We always knew he had the talent to do this, but it's something very hard to do. He's worked so hard and has such passion for this. He has good values, too. He takes care of his family and has a passion for wrestling, something he's always had."
- As noted, Ric Flair did a dark segment during last night's WWE NXT TV tapings where a signed NXT Title belt was raffled off for a fan. The belt was signed by all of the participants at Takeover and was won by a kid battling several disabilities. Flair presented the kid with the belt and the crowd gave him a standing ovation.
- The shark movie that Rob Van Dam was filming in Florida last week is titled Three-Headed Shark Attack, a sequel to the 2012 movie. Filming just wrapped. Below are photos of RVD on set with actress Dawn Christy Hamil:
