More On WWE's CM Punk Statement, WWE Wishes Floyd Mayweather Good Luck In Superfight, NXT
- Above is a preview for next Wednesday's WWE NXT episode with NXT Champion Kevin Owens.
- As noted earlier, WWE issued a statement with video on Friday evening to dispute CM Punk's claims about Dr. Chris Amann, just one day after Amann filed a defamation lawsuit against Punk and Colt Cabana over their Art of Wrestling podcast from last year. Besides issuing the statement to media outlets, the story was front page "Breaking News" on WWE.com. As of this writing, the statement is still the top item on WWE's main page. There has been no online response from Colt or Punk to Amann's lawsuit or WWE's statement and there likely won't be.
- With the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao superfight now official for May 2nd, WWE tweeted a good luck message to the WrestleMania 24 participant:
Good luck @FloydMayweather in your title bout vs. @MannyPacquiao May 2 in Las Vegas. @WWE is in your corner! pic.twitter.com/uzq5FFH2jd
